ABOUT
Casa Con Tiki is the private home of Cliff and Carin Miller. They are located in the beautiful town of Tehachapi, California, in the community of Stallion Springs. Cliff and Carin have been long-time supporters of independent music. They want to share their love of different types of music with their friends and neighbors and have decided to jump into house concert hosting. The concept of house concerts appeals to Cliff and Carin as it allows you to hear the stories behind the songs and to get to know the artist better in an intimate listening environment. Our venue is open to Trop-Rock, Country, Jazz, and Folk-Americana music genres, to name a few.

Casa Con Tiki is not a business; we receive no compensation for hosting house concerts. House concert hosts collect donations at the door or prepaid for the artist performing. The suggested donation is $20.00 to $30.00 per person. All proceeds go to the musicians. Performing and filling seats is how traveling artists make a living.

Cliff and Carin Miller are proud members of the
Trop Rock Music Association (TRMA),
Salt Water Independent Music (SWIM), and
House Concert Central (on Facebook). Many of the artists we know come from being associated with these organizations, and Parrot Head Clubs.

An award-winning, ukulele-toting, performing songwriter, Victoria Vox started out singing in coffeeshops, backyards, and thrift-stores from Seattle to Baltimore. Since the release of her first ukulele album in 2006 (Victoria Vox and her Jumping Flea), Vox has been one of the leading songwriters on the ukulele scene and three-time cover girl for Ukulele Magazine (USA) and UKE Mag (U.K.). She has shared the bill with ukulele greats such as Jake Shimabukuro and the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, as well as songwriters Jackson Browne and Jane Wiedlin. Over the years, she continued to evolve and reinvent her sound while incorporating the ukulele. She now performs mostly as a one-woman-band, using a loop pedal and bass effect on her Low G ukulele.
Phoenix Mendoza is a teller of tales, singer of songs, and painter of pictures. Phoenix exudes the same singer-songwriter/artist vibe that came to define Laurel Canyon in the early 70’s.
Josh Leo is one of those rare talents who’s as at home behind the console as he is in front of the mic, as comfortable writing and analyzing chord structures as he is picking hit songs for other artists, and as at ease walking among major music executives and huge stars as he is throwing back a few beers after a session playing guitar with a brand-new artist.
